Updates on Upcoming Events After The Lair’s Closure

As you may have heard, The Lair announced it’s closure today via a post on their website. We ran over 90% of our events out of The Lair, and as such, changes will be coming to where we host our events on a regular basis.
This is our plan as of today:
- Jocks & Socks on Friday, Oct 10 AND Thirst Trap on Friday, Oct 17 have both been cancelled. Anyone who bought a ticket has already been refunded automatically. We made this decision because we didn’t feel there would be enough time to find a new location for these events.
- The rest of our scheduled events will be moving to new venues. It’s possible that some of our regular events may be temporarily delayed or dates changed while we work to find new venues to run our events in.
- Events at other venues (like The Drink) are unaffected and will continue as planned in their original venues.
Questions you might have...
Yes. When an event is cancelled, we issue refunds automatically. You should expect your refund to appear back on your card in 1-3 days typically.
Yes, whenever we switch a venue for an event, you can get a refund if you bought your ticket while the old venue was being advertised should you not feel comfortable with the venue change. Please email us at in**@*************to.com to make a request for a refund.
The Lair made a statement on the reasons for their closure which you can read on their site.
Probably. It is possible that dates or times may be changed slightly. If this happens, we will update you and provide you an option to opt-out of the event and get a refund, if you like.
Probably. Unless those performers, DJs or other creatives are not available. We will make every effort to keep these creatives the same.

We’d love suggestions on new venues that might be open to letting us run events in their space. Let us know if you have any ideas. If your idea leads to bookings, we will thank you with some free event tickets.
